LabSul develops activities aimed at research, knowledge production, and the implementation of actions in human rights and new technologies, focusing on Latin America and Brazil. Its areas of activity include the impact of technologies on human rights, the formulation of innovative public policies, the regulatory challenges of the digital economy, and the dissemination of knowledge through education and information.
Through partnerships with various social actors, the laboratory seeks to promote ethical, legal, and scientific discussions on technological development, strengthen digital inclusion, improve public governance, and foster the responsible use of technology in the information society.
